Bloom

In December 2007, Porpoise on the Park festival was held over two nights at Pizza on the Park in London. Porpoise Corpus, the audiovisual festival's main act and organisers, invited us to express their music in moving image format, as a continuation of our collaboration for their summer performance at the City of London Festival.

The Porpoise on the Park festival was the debut of 'Bloom', our interactive piece featuring visually striking time lapse footage of blooming flowers. The idea for the stage graphics arose from a self-initiated exploratory project, which evolved into an apt visual expression of Porpoise Corpus' evocative and experimental jazz.
